Ive been watching this movie for 3 nights now. First night it put me to sleep within 25 mins and the next two it didnt even take that long.
In a world where 2 out of 3 series or movies are about superheroes or gods this flick is just the next halfhearted attempt to cash in on the trends.
Lets be honest, if Charlise Theron wasnt the lead this would have been a 4,5/10.
The only memorable thing in here for me is the bromance scene between Joe and Nicky.

Amazing movie! really love the potential of this franchise i hope they will make a sequal! maybe even stuff from the past? it made my brain go in overdrive theorizing. Now they make a movie on this I was literally watching the story about this. I am so glad I skipped the trailer. Gives away a lot of the good stuff. The movie was good. The Old guard auxiliary. Joe and nicky are a Muslim and Christian who thought on opposite sides of the crusades soooo cool. I just watched this movie, it's freaking amazing and has such an interesting concept. Been seeing the poster for long, didnt give a moment for myself to watch it. But shit, i wanna go back in time and slap the shit outta myself. This movie is perfection. Period. The old guard 2 movie. Ehhh idk. could be either stupid fun or just stupid, I guess we'll see. The Old guard and reserve. The old guard trailer. This scene in particular with Joe and Nicky is so heartbreakingly gorgeous the word beautiful doesn't cut it. In fact I think they need to make a new word to describe how insanely hot it is. I was awe struck. Honestly my heart missed several beats and I was seriously thinking Wow. What did I just witness? It was beyond beautiful. Definitely made this film for me. Especially as I wasn't exactly to expecting to have my world rocked! As it did. I have watched it over a few times. It almost made me cry. X 💜♾👬🌍.

This movie, man, is in a whole other level! I'm 22, fairly young, but I don't think I could've ever dreamed of a love story like these being portrayed in a movie even in my wildest dreams! First, gay people were the villains, the impure, then we were in movies for seconds, with no PDA, and most of us would die or not have a happy ending, and that was called representation, you had to be thankful, even. But this movie, THIS movie is revolutionary! An undying, legendary love so pure and timeless, both fearless, bad*ss men, thriving and living their love throughout the centuries. Truly iconic. Just take in consideration that it's a Netflix movie, entertaining but certainly no Highlander. Although if you would watch Highlander right now, than its not the Highlander you remember. It seemed like at the end it was being set up as a serial - if that happens, they can address the backgrounds and develop the characters. Plus, going back in time showing how they impact history will be cool.

Such an amazing show, Id live to see next season based on where they really came from and how they actually became immortal like a back story on how it all started. This movie was actually pretty fun and better than I expected.

Would rather see Scott Eastwood portray Walt Kowalski (Gran Torino) during the Korean War.
